Ducati 848 "Evo Racer"

Ducati 848 "Evo Racer"

This amazing build by NCT is based on a Ducati 848 and is called the "Evo Racer". Because it is based on such a high-performance bike, mostly the design was customized.

The bike was stripped down and Manuel and Kurt modified the rear frame and installed the handmade seat covered in a vintage color scheme. The handmade seatcowl is built out of aluminium. The frame and wheels got powder coated in black.

The original Brembo brakes have been kept and the engine was serviced and mapped to the new K&N airfilter and exhaust system. The new racing exhaust system comes with a beautiful-sounding Akrapovic slip on. Carbon fenders have been used on both front and the rear. To match the look, side clads built out of carbon fiber have also been installed. A handmade milled triple clamp was installed in the front fork. The tyres are Pirelli Supercorsa SP V2 made for high speed racing.

The electrical bits of the bike have been rewired by Kurt. The Evo Racer uses the original Motogadget Speedometer but uses new turn signals, also by Motogadget. The old grips got replaced with new grips; you guessed it, Motogadget. The new LED rear light got incorporated in the seatcowl and the headlight is now LED. Evo Racer is covered in a beautiful vintage color scheme devised by Manuel, who did a fantastic job in capturing the details of the bike through its color.
